In this first issue, professionals of the medical sciences offer us two articles of great importance for the training of public health professionals. The first one is related to the implementation, through a course of its own, of biosafety in the first year of the medical career, due to the emergence and reemergence of infectious diseases. The second describes the performance of nursing personnel in the care of people with COVID-19 from the adaptation model of Sister Callista Roy, since it offers the possibility of knowing the different stimuli and manipulating them to achieve the adaptation of the human system, maintaining integrity and dignity as a way to promote health and improve the quality of life.
Next, we present a methodology to improve reading skills, specifically fluency from the school library in rural conditions, which favors the teaching-learning process and the formation of an integral general culture in the students.

In relation to the preparation of the personnel in charge of preserving and classifying information, a system of actions for training is shown that will allow to deepen the process of documentary transfer of the different institutional substantive processes.
In correspondence with the role played by the Municipal University Centers in accompanying the territorial governments for local development, key indicators of the balanced scorecard are proposed for the development of their financial goals, social impact, internal processes, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate training.
Given the importance of coffee planting and cultivation as an exportable item, the results of a research that allows determining the current state of the coffee agro-ecosystem in the Luis Antonio Carbó Credit and Service Cooperative, located in the community of Limonar de Monte Ruz, El Salvador municipality, Guantánamo province, which will allow enriching the updating of biodiversity databases in the period between October 2021 and November 2022, are provided.
Technical training requires a professional equipped with tools that will allow him/her to act in accordance with the needs and conditions in which he/she finds himself/herself, in this order, guiding ideas are shown for the preparation of teachers in terms of the professional training of students and transforming the educational reality from the use of methods and techniques of educational research.

Concerned with the teaching of local literature as an important source for the formation of the cultural identity of the nation, researchers conducted a historical search of the main journalistic sources that in different stages have promoted and disseminated the artistic and literary talent of Baracoa in the lyrical genre and its inclusion in the curriculum of the Pre-university educational level within the teaching-learning process of the subject Spanish - Literature, as one of the priorities of the new educational improvement in Cuba.
Creativity is one of the most complex skills to develop in the teaching-learning process of all subjects within the school curriculum, as a result, methodological activities are presented to contribute to the treatment of creativity during the teaching-learning process of the construction of written texts in the subject Spanish - Literature seventh grade of the Basic Secondary education level.
Referring also to the construction of literary texts, an article aimed at the didactic orientation of this teaching activity is exhibited.
